• L.L.B. (Hons, First Class) / B.A. (Political Studies), Otago University, 1991

• Admitted and first enrolled as a Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand, May 1992

• Enrolled as a Barrister and Solicitor and entitled to practice as a Barrister, and authorised by the NZ Law Society to receive direct instructions, since April 2018

• Associate member of the Arbitrators’ and Mediators’ Institute of New Zealand Inc (AMINZ), since December 2022
